Hi - I’m Lisa!
I started out in design as a little girl constantly re-arranging my room (sometimes weekly!) but my more formal training began in 2008 as an antiques dealer at the former Monmouth Antique Shoppes in Red Bank. I scoured the eastern seaboard for unique vintage items that would transform a home from boring to unique and fun. I loved design so much that I attended Parsons New School of Design in New York City to receive an education in Interior Design, enabling me to hone and develop my practice.
LSW Design was born in 2012 and since then I’ve enjoyed helping clients make the most of their homes and see their spaces in a whole new light. My biggest challenge came in 2018 when an amazing opportunity to renovate a gem of a house sprang up and my husband and I jumped on it, allowing me to use all of my interior design training for myself and my family. Despite being such a huge and daunting endeavor, it went smoothly thanks to an amazing team along with my experience in home design. The result of this extensive project was a home that feels good to my family and allows us to live well. With LSW Design, I’m here to help others do the same!
My ideal clients are people who are stuck on the design of a space. They need another eye, fresh ideas and help to make the most of their space. They would like to furnish their homes with quality items that function as well as they look and want a home that is warm and personal. Being a mother of two children, I understand how to make a home function smoothly and look good at the same time.
Ultimately, I help my clients add soul, style and function to their spaces so they can truly appreciate their homes.
As a four-year old I knew how I wanted to live! I feel so lucky to be a mama to two wonderful kids and to be able to “do what I want to do” for a career.
